This community welcomes all who have an interest in, or who practice, Aikido. Aikido is a Japanese martial art founded by Ueshiba Morihei, who is also known as O'Sensei (or great teacher).

Please feel welcome to share your experiences with Aikido, either on or off the mat. Questions about Aikido in general, specific teachers/styles, and/or techniques are also welcome - but recognize that this community is young at this point and we may not have all the answers yet. :)

You may also make announcements about upcoming events at your dojo - although please contact me if you are wanting to make announcements of items for sale or promoting other communities.

Please be civil at all times. Disagreements are part of life, but personal attacks, vulgar language, flaming, and trolling will not be tolerated.
